Kansas City native and bilingual, Giovanna Gomez was raised in a hard working hispanic household, lucky enough to have a family owned hair salon where she, her mom and aunt do their best in making an impact on every client that sits in their chair. With the desire to expand her skills and provide more to her clients that got her where she is today, she’s on her way to becoming a Permanent Cosmetics Artist.

Her goal is to master her craft and open up the first permanent makeup studio in KCK where she can provide PMU services, artistic tattooing, hair and barbering services, as well as color services.

Apart from working her family business, Gio loves the live music scene, enjoys training at the gym, going on hikes with her boyfriend and dog Johnny. She makes family her priority, she is a true animal lover, and also changes up her hair color every few weeks.

Meet Mahsa Cooper, She was born and raised in Tehran, Iran. She moved to the states with her family when she was 11 years old. She has always had a passion for art, justice, and public service. After graduating high school, she attended JCCC where she enrolled in their Fine Arts and Dental Hygienist program. She loved helping others achieve their desired smiles and educating on proper oral care. She is an avid painter and art is a huge part of her life.

Her love for other humans and public service was just beginning, she wanted to be a part of something bigger than herself. She decided to change careers, achieving a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice. In 2012, she became a Police Officer in Johnson County Kansas and has been serving and protecting the community ever since.

Mahsa’s brief time in the beauty industry as a Beauty Advisor for Ulta always lingered and intrigued her. She enjoyed going above and beyond to learn all the new trends and products in order to assist the diverse needs of any client. Mahsa is finally putting herself and her dreams first; returning to the beauty industry by obtaining her Tattoo License specializing in Permanent Cosmetics.  Her goal is to bring her discipline, work ethic, integrity, and standard of excellence to this industry.

Abigail Veale currently owns and operates her esthetician business, Abby’s Aesthetic,  in Warrensburg, Missouri.  She has been in the industry for a few years now, but started her own business in February 2021.  Abigail is constantly wanting to learn and grow her knowledge in the industry.  Abigail’s drive relates to her philosophy behind it all. She has always had a passion for art and beauty. Her college degree is in art and is excited to merge the two utilizing her two passions, art and helping others. 

Helping others is a passion that grew from struggling with confidence as a teenage girl. Acne had a huge impact on her confidence, and she had to teach herself ways to cope and restore it. She takes great pride in helping others achieve that confidence today. Abby is excited to tackle this apprenticeship and add Permanent Cosmetics to her menu, introducing new services to the Warrensburg area!
